Capitol Leadership Experience
Members and officers in red blazers fill the halls and offices of the State Capitol in Sacramento during an incredible opportunity to participate in the Capitol Leadership Experience. Participants introduce and debate mock legislation in the Senate Chambers at the Capitol. In addition, members and officers meet with their legislators to share the value of FHA-HERO and Home Economics Careers and Technology Education. This is a great opportunity to learn first-hand about the legislative process, and to meet personally with those responsible for making decisions that affect education in California and the nation.
