To ensure an efficient and accurate system for processing and
verifying Competitive Recognition Events (CRE) entries, the
process of computerized data entry forms, known as the Web Entry
System (WES), will be continued. Chapters will still be
required to submit hard copy entry forms with its payment of
entry fees. All of the information, forms and support
needed to complete your chapter's entries is available through
this web page.

CRE Entry Process
STEP 1: Obtain a password NOW!
Do not wait until ready to begin entering data. If the
lead advisor is the same as last year, the password from last
year will still be valid for the 2009-10 program year and you
have no need to obtain a new password. If a previously
issued password was lost, a new request must be submitted to
obtain a new password.

STEP 2: The lead advisor of record
for the chapter will receive password via email from the
WES. This can take 2 to 5 days. Lead advisors
are asked to keep passwords strictly confidential.
Only the lead advisor is authorized to enter data in the
WES. Do not ask a student to perform this task!
STEP 3: Enter students for competition
by the
established deadline dates.

STEP 4: Verify all entries and make appropriate
corrections/updates. No additions or corrections
are allowed after January 20th!

STEP 5: Print
a copy of your chapter's information for your files not
later then January 20th.

STEP 6: Verify competitors for State
Finals one week after your
Region Competitions. This is a crucial step!!
This verification process will result in a final
list of competitors for your chapter. If the name
of a competitor does not appear on the chapter advisor-verified
list, the member will not be eligible to participate
in State CRE Finals.
