Meet the Region 8 Officers
Naomi Capalac, Region 8 President, is a senior at Cesar E. Chavez High School. She has been a member of FHA-HERO for three years and has enjoyed it immensely. She served as Region 8 Secretary last year and as Chapter President. Naomi says, “ The best thing about FHA-HERO is the fun learning experiences I have encountered as a member. The leadership skills I have learned will be invaluable to me in the future."
Willy Terrazas, Region 8 Vice President/Treasurer, is a senior at Cesar E. Chavez High School. He has been active in his Chapter as Historian. He is very active in his Church youth group. Chapter members say, “Willy is a very hard worker and a good leader. He’s kind and friendly to everyone.”
Amanda Moreno, Region 8 Secretary, is a junior at Kern Valley High School. She has served as a reporter at her local chapter and is also currently plays softball, serving as a captain and best bunter. “Amanda has a genuine concern in helping people and participating to the fullest” says Donna Moreno, Amanda’s mom. She receives many more comments like these from her advisor and her fellow colleagues.
Trinity Snyder, Region 8 Reporter, is a sophomore at Kern Valley High School. S he has been in FHA-HERO for one year and served as a treasurer at her local chapter. She also is involved in other organizations such as California Scholarship Federation, Excel, AYSO Soccer Organization, and Calvary Chapel Youth Group. Comments from her local chapter advisor, parents, and friends are nothing but sincere, and blissful, and they all agree that Trinity is a real “go-getter”.
