Meet the Region 8 Officers

Amanda Moreno, Region 8 President, is a senior at Kern Valley High in Lake Isabella, Ca. She is currently her chapter’s Vice President. Last year she served as Chapter President and Region 8 Secretary. Amanda stated “FHA-HERO is a great way to become a leader and get involved in your school and community”. Amanda is involved in Kern Valley High’s softball team, Spanish Club and A.S.B. She also was the Softball Captain the past two years. After Amanda graduates in 2012, she plans to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo or Cal Lutheran to study psychology so she can be a high school counselor.

Trinity Snyder, Region 8 Vice President, is a junior at Kern Valley High in Lake Isabella. She is her chapter’s Secretary. Last year she was Region 8 Reporter and Chapter Historian. Trinity declared “FHA-HERO has changed me for the better. I have learned so much from this organization and it is hard to imagine life without it.” At Kern Valley she is also involved with CSF, Mathletes, and Spanish Club. She is also on the soccer team, softball team, and tennis team. After she graduates in 2013, she hopes to study Child Development.

Tracie Martinez, Region 8 Secretary, is a senior at Fresno High. She is her chapter’s Secretary and also involved in Fresno High Cheerleading and Link Crew. Tracie believes FHA-HERO is the best program to be involved in because FHA-HERO brings in so many opportunities and you get to meet new people.

Mark Rocha, Region 8 Treasurer, is a senior at Sanger High and serving as his chapter’s Secretary. He has also been Chapter President. He plays on the Sanger High’s sports baseball, basketball, and soccer. After Mark graduates, he plans to attend culinary school in San Francisco.

Breanna Johnson, Region 8 Historian, is a senior at Cesar Chavez High in Delano, Ca. Last year she was the Chapter Secretary. Breanna thinks FHA-HERO is awesome. Breanna is a member of the cross country team, wrestling team, and track team. Last year she was the Special Alliance President. After graduation, she plans to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Saul Ramos, Region 8 Reporter, is a senior at Sanger High. He is also serving as President for his local chapter. He has also been a FHA-HERO Classroom President. Saul believes FHA-HERO is a great organization to help students’ blossom personalities. He stated “Region 8 is going to be Fierce and Fabulous”. At Sanger High Saul is on the tennis team and involved in Link Crew, French Club, A.S.B, C.S.F., Choir and Science Club. After Saul graduates, he will attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles to become a fashion designer.
